JSON tools that run in your browser

JSON Central is a browser-local web application for formatting, validation, conversion and inspection. Normal tool inputs, uploaded files and converted outputs are processed in your browser; they are not uploaded to JSON Central for conversion.

Site delivery

Ordinary technical request information may be processed to deliver the pages and files you request. Do not place confidential information in a URL, path or query string. Advertising or analytics services may make separate ordinary network requests when enabled, but JSON Central must not intentionally send tool payloads to advertising, analytics or logging services.

Practical limits

Tools apply a 20 MB input safeguard and may stop work that exceeds a time or browser-resource limit. Conversions can be deterministic without being lossless between formats, so review important output before using it.

Advertising readiness

JSON Central may use third-party advertising after launch. Advertising and consent services can make their own network requests, but editor contents, outputs and filenames are not added to those requests by JSON Central.
